Summary
Murder is easy if no one suspects you. Lavinia Fullerton (Helen Hayes), however, has more than suspicions. She's en route to Scotland Yard to disclose the name of the person responsible for a spate of murders in her village. Alas, who would surmise the killer would be waiting in London for her? Murder is also an intriguing puzzle for armchair slueths in this sprightly adaption of Agatha Christie's novel. Bill Bixby plays Like Williams, a computer whiz vacationing in England. He befriends Lavinia on the train ride to Marylebone Station, decides to take up the case himself and soon finds even a computer can't predict human behaviour. One thing becomes clear for Luke and a gallery of suspects (including Lesley-Anne Down, Olivia de Havilland and Jonathan Pryce) Murder is indeed easy...until you're caught.
